The 14th edition of the Foklex Media Awards concluded in grand style on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the National Theatre in Accra, Ghana. The prestigious event, hosted by Kyeamehemaa Patty and Roman Fada, brought together media personalities, industry stakeholders, and special guests from across the country. The ceremony celebrated excellence in media, recognizing outstanding professionals who have made significant contributions to the industry.
Among the night’s highlights was the crowning of Faith FM’s Abigy Abigy as Radio Personality of the Year. With an impressive 50,985 votes, Abigy clinched the coveted title and took home the ultimate prize—a brand-new car. The award underscored his influence and connection with listeners, solidifying his place as one of Ghana’s top media figures.
The event also featured electrifying performances from renowned musicians, including Kwabena Kwabena, Shasha Marley, and Abbi Ima, who kept the audience entertained with their hit songs. Their presence added glamour and excitement to the evening, making it a memorable experience for attendees.
Other categories honored excellence in journalism, broadcasting, and digital media, showcasing the diverse talent within Ghana’s media landscape. The Foklex Media Awards continues to be a benchmark for recognizing and rewarding hardworking professionals who drive the industry forward.
